Pretty good pub, cosy with a good ale selection and friendly customers. Rather a surly barmaid when were there but you can’t have it all can you?
Best thing is the Viceroy Indian Restaurant which is in the back. You buy your drinks at the pub and the waiters bring some very good aromatic curry to your table. You could tell this wasn’t curry made from one base sauce, each one of the 4 we ordered tasted entirely different. Good range of special dishes from their tandoor and attentive staff. I am told their Vindaloo is much prized by enthusiasts for that dish too.
