Asda

I would love this ASDA more if it were easier to get to.
Being attached to Romford makes it convenient for some but cumbersome for most with all the traffic and hassle of getting around and into the parking lot. Perhaps that has to do from where I’m coming from but still, who goes grocery shopping without their car?
For this reason I usually go to Tesco as they have their own FREE parking lot.
I like this store a lot because it is HUGE, has affordable pricing and super convenient self check out. The plus side to the location is that if I’m going into Romford for some other store, I can usually kill two birds with one stone and pick up some shopping here on the way out and get my parking validated with a purchase of £5.
Being American, I would also like to note that they have an impressive offering of international foods such as dried corn kernels for fresh popcorn, tortillas for burritos, and spices I find hard to locate in the other grocery stores surrounding.
A good store, I just wish there weren’t as much traffic surrounding!

Staff are friendly and helpful, have a good range of items in stock, shelves are always fully stocked. I used to shop at Tesco a lot but have moved the bulk of my shopping to Asda. The Chosen By You range is good value for money and to me taste equivalent to most of Tesco’s Finest range. Competitive prices!
