At last Romford has a Mexican /Tex Mex restaurant! I’ve been meaning to try it for some time but finally did New Year’s Eve. The place was very quite and has been when I’ve walked past but don’t let that put you off. From my observations it seems they’re still trying to build the business but the delivery service seemed busy. Anyway the service was excellent and the waiter was keen to explain the menu and answer any questions. The food was fresh, tasty and good value. I highly recommend the Nachos Hut for starters, main course the beef burrito, doesn’t have rice inside(explained by the waiter that it’s a regional difference), the Hacienda steak and Enchiladas. The desserts are good too but definitely for those that have a sweet tooth. Warning the portions are large so don’t go ordering individual starters unless you want to take home half your main course or you’re very very hungry! Here’s the best part… bring your own booze as they don’t have a license. Really this is what can make a meal expensive! Overall good value for money, great food and service.
