I think this pub has recently changed ownership and as a result I took the family in there for the first time, to try it out. The ambience needs some updating, the pub feel is good but there could be a need to fill up some space. The staff are really friendly, very helpful, attentive, making sure customers are happy. We went in there for food mainly. The menu was slightly different to what was displayed on their Facebook page. They have a good range of basic to more elaborate meals. I had the steak dinner but could have had the haddock which was the daily special. Their apple pie, custard and ice cream was awesome. They do a Sunday roast but couldn’t get there on that day. I understand the pub does coffees, teas, and is suitable for all age groups young or old. People in there seemed to be having a good time.

A typical English suburban pub. A large single bar decked out in wood with plenty of seating. A large garden with seating for summer and to allow children to roam. A reasonable range of standard beers is on offer with a small menu of typical pub grub.
