the parkgate shopping center is easily accesible by car or bus, there is plenty of parking space and a wide range of shops including a morrisons supermarket at the top end. There are plenty of places to grab something to eat too, fast food places like k f c or accross the main road is a hreat little pub the storyteller. sometimes there are little rides for the kids aswell which is a nice distraction for them when theyre getting bored. I like the complex as you can get your essentials as well as just having a browse for the fun of it. the only downside is the distance between the two sides which can be a pain to get accross

I would choose to go to Parkgate over Meadowhall ever time. It might just be because you can get some fresh air in between shops but there’s also a great variety there. The only thing that does annoy me about it is that the parking spaces seem to be really small. 44 drivers struggle(more than usual) to park when it’s busy and the roads around it can get very congested in the school holidays.

Best this since Meadowhall(and not far from it either). Parkgate offers everything you could want in one location. And does one up on Meadowhall by having a Morrisons there as well. The entire retail park seems to be split into two sections, one is morrisons and a slew of larger chains, the other side is mostly clothing and speciality stores. My wifes favorite stores are all here in one location. One note, I saw a sign for GAME however could not see it open or a door for it. So GAME may be moving in or moved out, wasn’t sure. Parking is easy and plentiful and basically the prices are less then Meadowhall.

Parkgate in Rotherham is a great alternative to the larger Meadowhall centre several miles away. Although open air, the shops are close together and offer a great variety. Morrison’s is the resident supermarket and is of reasonable size with ample parking. Marks and Spencer’s can be found alongside BHS and many other stores if clothing is what you are after. The large Matalan store is always busy especially on a Saturday morning, when the car parks soon start to fill. There are a couple of hot sandwich vendors located in the car parks along with a Gregg’s and Pizza Hut offering a welcome break from all the shopping.
