This chippy is awesome, the best in rugby without a shadow of a doubt. They do great bargain dishes, which they call their meals deals and range in prices, but are great value for eg. You can get jumbo sausage, chips and a choice of gravy, curry or peas for 2.20 pound, which is fantastic, they also do a half a chicken (rotisserie style done on the premises) which chips for 4.00, again this is gorgeous.
They also do a all day breakie, ommlettes, and a choice of breakfast batches.
They do a homemade fishcake as well, which is huge and just gorgeous, I wish I had his recipe, god knows how he makes them but they are the best. The staff have worked there forever it feels like, as I have seen them since I was a little lad, and they are still as loverly as ever, although god know how they stay skinny working with all that gorgeous food. Great asset to rugby is general and also their community in which they do a lot of work especially with the youth.

absolutley without doubt the best fish and chip shop in Rugby. they also won best fish and chip shop i think in 2005 that they still go on about now. but that does not bother me cos if you have it flaunt it!!!
They do great deals also, they do a selection called the meal deals which have some great meals at great bargain prices for eg. jumbo sausage chips and choice of gravy, curry sauce or peas for the grand total of 2.20. They also do a big lunchbox for 3.00 (i think) that consists of mini fish, chips and a sauase with choice of sauces/​pea etc.
They also do breakfasts and toasted sandwiches which have only recently been introcuced but seem to have gone down really well.
They have also this week introduced rotesserie chicken, which i have not tried as yet — but have heard are great.
There home made fishcakes also are amazing, they are so nice and worth that extra 20p.
The queues can be out of the door on certain nights, but the staff are very efficent and they get to you quite quickly.
The staff are great and the majority have worked there for years and year. the owner is a star, he is so proud of his store and his food and it shows, i think that is a great attitude to have and i think his customers come back to him again and again due to this and also the superb quality of the food.
Everyone in rugby has been here i think, or atleast heard of this chip shop. try it out you will not be disapointed. i spoke to someone in their last week whom actually travels 25 miles to get his chips from this chip shop. also david barmby from bargain hunt goes in there for his fish and chipshehe!!!
