I really like this pub, i have visted four times now after attending the chinese just a couple of doors down.
There is such a loverly atmosphere in there, the landlady and land lord are great people, really warm and hospitable and a great laugh.
They have some great entertainment on most fridays, i especially like the golden oldies nights, really great laugh.
There beers and wine etc is really cheap, and they also do pitchers of beer, cocktails and drinks which i think is nice if theres a group of you out, well maybe not one for the bokes but me and my mates like sharing.
The décor is what you would expect for a pub of that standad and location etc and is really nice.
The locals whom i have seen on the occasions i have been in have seemed a friendly bunch and varied in ages and i found there to be a great diversity of people in ther, not just chavs etc. but people from all walks of life which i think is always nice.
a freind of mine also said she attended a wake there and it was very nicely organised and the staff were very effiicent and very professional.
Nice pub, with a nice atmosphere, definatly reccomend the friday nights there.
