The Dandara group offers brand new spanking shiny apartments at several ends of the country, and as well as their Castlefield sites they’ve got this little doozy right on the edge of the city centre. Spectrum is fresh and while it doesn’t offer anything remarkably special in this day and age of new-builds clogging up our skylines, you can’t fault its location. A short walk to the absolute centre of Manchester, Spectrum prides itself on being 500 metres away from Harvey Nicks so you can imagine the clientele range from the fairly well-off to the ridiculously wealthy. An ex-boss of mine lived there and she was a retail manager, so it’s not like only footballers and celebutantes reside within its walls. The building benefits from private gardens and a great deal of them have balconies too, and the open plan living helps them to feel spacious. From what I can tell all the rentable apartments are fully furnished while the buyables are blank slates. Renting prices range from around £575 for a one-bedroom deal to approximately £1,300 for your archetypal penthouse duplex. Oh we can but dream. I’d say this is about as central and brand new as you can get without being directly IN the city centre.
