A really good pub nestled in a picturesque spot. Staff are very friendly and the menu is changed regularly and features both innovative and more traditional dishes. The food is good and reasonably priced but the venison I ordered was rather overcooked and the spring lamb cutlets were insufficient for any but the smallest appetite. A good range of beers are on tap and the ambience is warm and relaxed. A little tweak here and there and it could be great.
