Just been took over again. excellent service very good food and exceptional views over the sea. Looks like they know what they doing now. Prices have come down to something realistic now.

Vista Mar is nearly at the bottom of Saltburn bank, while this gives gorgeous views of the sea and beach especially at dawn, it’s a horrendous walk back up!
During the day it serves food, including meals and snacks and on a night time it’s a wine bar/pub which often has jazz music.
The inside is beautifully decorated, it’s style, clean and new. There are plenty of seats with nice comfy sofas and stools to sit at the bar. The outside decked area is lovely and theres a nice roof over smokers with a heater.
However no matter how nice it is the 15 minute walk up a very very steep hill makes it unpopular.
It is also quite expensive for alcohol and is easily the most expensive pub in Saltburn.
