I’ve never been to the Old Plow before in my life. As American visitors in Seaford, we would just pick a place and eat there. Sometimes this would end in disappointment and regret. It’s hard to find a good restaurant or pub in a small town. Luckily this time we found an amazing pub and will continue to visit the place for as long as they are open. We got lucky in finding the Old Plough. In our many trips there, I would order the ultimate grill which was very cheap. It was about 10 quid and well worth worth it. The entire meal was a 10⁄10 and I’m very picky. The eggs were cooked just so, the meats were cooked perfectly and the french fries had this trencher of gravy you could pour over the whole lot. The sausages were perfect. For ten quid you can’t find a better meal in Seaford. Actually, no matter how much or how little, you can’t find a better meal in Seaford. The bartenders were great in recommending beers to an annoying American like myself. Everyone that worked there was professional, courteous, and made going to the Old Plough a pleasure. Also they have a cat there. Extra 100 Points. 10⁄10

The Old Plough is one of those pubs that’s gone from being a traditional old boozer — that now and again has bad years profit wise to a place that churns out two 4 one meal deals at really low prices. That’s fine if you don’t like old fashioned drink culture and just fancy a cheap day/night out but not for me I’m afraid. That said it does have a very nice bunch of people working behind the bar and quite a nice atmosphere about the place. They also have a poker league and run a quiz every Sunday which does sound tempting!
