I’ve always been a fan of the Deep Pan Pizza Co. They’re not as high profile as other chains such as Pizza Hut, and the number of locations they have has diminished over the last 10 years or so, but I’ve never had a bad meal at one of their restaurants. This particular branch is found in the lower mall at Crystal Peaks. Its not a particularly large restaurant, so it never gets so busy that your food is delayed. its comfortable, light and well decorated, with plenty to look at on the walls. The food is standard Italian fayre — pizzas, pasta, salad and so on. The pizzas are very nice though, particularly the meat feast variety, and they come in a choice of three sizes, the smallest just about enough for one, the medium enough for two as a snack, and the large plenty for two to share. This branch has an all you can eat salad bar, which always looks to be fresh and well stocked, and the drinks menu is adequate. Desserts, as is the norm these days, are slightly over priced. Service is always good, and its a place I like to go back to if I’m ever in the area.
