yay a new one on Ecclesall road love this place

another good meal here and very good service. had the special Christmas pizza on very thin base. Very tasty!

Decent pizza restaurant, with a good meal deal at lunchtime — 2 courses and a drink for £10.
However, for a company that advertises itself as child friendly, they really need to sort out their service. We were waiting ages for the starter of doughballs for the children, and then they brought out the adult meals before the children’s! So the food was sitting in front of us, while the girls were saying how hungry they were and asking where their food was. Surely they could have swapped over the service?
All in all not bad, as the waitresses were perfectly lovely.

Pizza express is the perfect post-​shopping treatment for tired feet and empty stomachs. Decent price for decent food, and made more appealing by the Orange Wednesday deals now on offer. Generous servings, good ingredients, and not too busy

Pizza Express is a great place to visit after a full day of shopping, the atmosphere is relaxing and the food is really enjoyable. You get can so many discount vouchers and the staff are so nice. And now if you are an Orange customer, you can have an Orange Wednesday 2 for 1 then go to Pizza Express and with the same code get 2 for 1 there too! Would insist!

The best pizza chain around and the place we usually end up when shopping at Meadowhell. Especially like to see the food being prepared. Good selection of food. Could do with more music perhaps to create a better atmosphere.

Although it is a bit overpriced I really like this place. You can see where all the food is made as it is all open plan, gives it an authentic kind of feel. There is a small bar where you can sit and have a drink, the staff are friendly and proffessional. The food is very nice although I have found the pizza’s have shrunk in size over the past few years but still very nice. The toilets are have alwyas been clean on the times I have visited.

Good as standard — Pizza express doesn’t often dissapoint.
Can be busy as obviously in a shopping centre and people want to hurry but not too bad considering this. If you have to go to Meadowhall, a good place to relax and eat.

I love Pizza Express! The staff are always really helpful and lovely — and if you have any food issues they will gladly help you out. A friend of mine takes his own wheat-​free pizza base with him and they cook it and do the topping he wants — no need to miss out on parties! marvellous!
Reasonably priced and reliably good quality food.

This is a good chain of pizza restaurants; there is little difference between the restaurants apart from the location.
The menu is fairly stable and occasionally they might be a new dish but the keep the best sellers there.
This restaurant is fairly large and is modern interior like all the restaurants. Its nicely laid out and is welcoming.
The food is nice and enjoyable but much better then another chain of pizza restaurants.
There is a good selection to choose from and a few non pizza dish if you want.
The prices is ok and the service can be a bit hit and miss unfortunate, Such as waiting a long time for a meal to come when rest of the group has their’s.

I have been a fan of Pizza Express since my first visit about about 4 years ago but today I was not impressed.
We went at the start of lunch time and the main courses me and my husband ordered were not available, we were assured that they were the only items on the menu that were unavailable (how’s that for a coincidence?). So we had to quickly make a second choice as we had a finite amount of time.
We ordered desserts from thier new menu and there is no longer any Café Reale which is the main reason I go there!
I had the new Reale which was mediocre and my husband had Apple Pie which was about the tenth of the size and consitency of a supermarket Apple Streudle that you can buy for 99p! Except this was nearly £5 although it did have a dollop of mascapone cheese and a sprig of mint to garnish! My husband took a photo if anyone wants to see it?
Will be a while before we return (if ever) when there are so many other good places out there that deserve our custom and give better value for money.

I think they have fab service. although i dont think there pizza’s are that great. personal opinion

great friendly service. tables always available. expect a 10 minuted wait on busy days. but generally quick. Nice itallian menu, with choices of pizza, pasta, salads and side orders. reasonable prices, not the cheapest. Nice open kitchen, nicely decorated. soft music playing.
