When we first went in a few years ago, we were served by two lovely old people who had a combined age of about 308, but it was a nice place for a quiet pint. Or seven. More recently the place has livened up a little, and the bar staff are much younger. Maybe it’s the days we’ve been in, but it still seems quite quiet for where it is.

A traditional pub right in the centre of Woodseats. They serve a nice pint of Guinness and it’s a fairly decent place to spend the evening chatting. One thing to note is the floor it really does slope as you go to the toilet, it isn’t an indicator of having drunk too much!
