West One Lettings

Hated it.
Lived there for 1 year.
Laundry is ALWAYS BROKEN. The dryers constantly function properly, where all your clothes will be wet after it has been through the drier. Staff always take your clothes off the washing machines and dryers and put them on the benches/​on top of the washing machines which makes your clothes smell bad. Complete invasion of privacy.
You do not have access to vacuum cleaners or any facilities, so you have to your own stuff.
The bills are not all inclusive, which means you have to pay for water, electricity and internet. Other accommodations like Endcliffe, Sheffield 3, Corner House have them for free, which makes no reason why you would stay here.
All the maintenance facilities have to be paid for like clogged sinks, fire alarms running out of battery, broken heaters have to paid for.
The staff are all rude and disrespectful.

My friend Sarah lived at West One last year and her apartment was one of the nicest i’ve ever seen. Great views from the balcony, nice appliances in the kitchen and it was really quiet to say the apartments are situated right in the middle of town. Compared to other city centre apartments where my university friends live, West One are definitely the best and they aren’t even that expensive compared to what I paid for my student house.
