Nice little pub by the canal with friendly atmosphere and seating outside.
Bank holiday was very busy.
Service was extremely slow. Food and drinks very slow. We only had chicken, chips and coleslaw and took about an hour. Portions were small, with certain mains at 2 for £15 but think I’d rather have gone to McDonald’s!!!

This place is idyllic — between the canal and the River it is a location for long summer evenings.
The restaurant is not only good value but superb quality. The restaurant manageress ensures guests are catered for and have a pleasant evening.
The pub menu is also substantial and the food is excellent.
We have dined indoors and outdoors here on several occasions and each occasion makes us return.
A special location and fine food — the walk back to Shipley is always quicker than the the walk there though!
