You honestly can’t go wrong with Pizza Express. Its a little bit more expensive than Pizza Hut but it more than makes up for it by offering some very good quality food! My pizza of choice is always the Calabrese which is spicey and delicious. Served on a unique plate and garnished exquisitely with rocket. I love it!

Excellent place for a late night bite after drinks with friends at The Portrait just a couple of steps above. The pizza is pretty good, large sizes and low prices. The staff are usually friendly and won’t bother you unnecessarily. I’ve also see that they are quite child friendly during the days so it is suitable for a family lunch or dinner too.

The food at pizza express is just so damn plain. Why this place is as successful as it is is news to me! My chicken pasta came out and was actually partly burned!!! I mean, come on!!! The staff were friendly and the baileys latte was nice too but the good is below average!

Its a Pizza Express. It sells pizza. If you happened to have landed from Mars, and don’t know what a Pizza Express is, it sells reasonable pizza, in reasonable surroundings, for a reasonable price. Or if you want to be harsh replace reasonable with mediocre. The only notable feature about this Pizza Express is the cavernous layout, in which the sound reverberates off the walls and floor — making it almost unbearably loud.

I like pizza express as a chain because I really enjoy the pizzas, the Sidcup franchise is friendly and efficient with a table magic show(I think) on Sunday lunchtimes. As always costs can escalate if you are in a large group but in general you can have a nice meal with friends for a reasonable cost.

We went as a family for lunch and it was faily quiet so the service was really quick but the waitress didn’t really talk to us much. I loved it because vegans are catered for(just order a cheeseless vegetarian pizza)! It’s much more classier than Pizza Hut and the pizza toppings are more varied, plus they’re really tasty and freshly-made. They also have some other meals like pasta dishes if you don’t like pizza. It’s slightly dearer than Pizza Hut but well worth the extra cost.

I’ve been here twice recently, both times the restaurant was very busy, surprisingly so for early January when everybody is supposedly broke! The interior is modern and fresh, it is a very large restaurant and we were seated in the front area which was nice and warm. However, as I went to the loo I noticed that the section towards the back of the restaurant was absolutely freezing and there were quite a few diners in this area. This was the same on both the occasions I have been there recently. So stay in the front if you want to be warm! The service was ok, not super speedy but polite, and they were busy. The food was lovely, very nice. First time we paid around £50 for a two course meal for two with a bottle of prosecco — so not super cheap. Last time we had a voucher for a free main course so that made things more reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.

This is just along from The Portrait and opposite the police station. This is a roomy airy restaurant and serves great pizzas which are freshly made to order. The dough balls asa starter are great and the American Hot pizza is hot enough woithout adding the optional extra chillies. The staff are friendly and ther are plenty of tables available. They do a gtreat value childrens menu too. This is a great place to go for a family meal out.
