Hi Everyone! This café is legendary! Everytime we have friends and family down we have to take them to the Clock Towers, why? The cake and food! If your going here don’t eat Breakfast unless you some sort of world champion at eating cake or my Nan! we took her there one day and she ate a whole slice a strawberry roudlade which doesn’t sound that bad but you have never seen a roulade like the ones in the Clock Towers! It’s 30 cm(12) tall, no joke! Top Tips: 1 — Don’t eat breakfast 2 — order a starter or a child size of you meal because it will be the size you are used to at home! 3 — Order tea and get the pot refilled with hot water(just let it brew for a while before pouring) 4 — Dare someone to eat a whole slice of cheesecake or roulade but don’t tell how big it is or let them in with you! and take the camera! 5 — Reserve a table so you know you’ll get in as gets hectic in the summer(only for meals) 6 — You can sit outside on the walls if you can’t find a table where is it? from the town head to the beach, cross over via the zebra crossing. head to you right up the promenade, use the ramp near the end of the prom and then walk around the cliff. you’ll come out and see white steps this is Jacobs ladder, head up the steps or go up the concrete slope. If you head up the slope you will go through Conort gardens to get to the café, you might come across a couple of small steps.

The Clocktower Cake Shop is literally on the edge of the Cliffs in Sidmouth. Sit upstairs and you have a view of the coast — incredible. The Clocktower is legendary for the size of it’s cakes etc. Some cakes are like 10 inches deep!!! Millionaire’s Shortbread there is also especially nice!
