Marino Fish Bar

Highly recommend this place. Went as a party of four without booking on a Friday evening and although they were quite busy, they found us a table.
Two of us went for a large Cod and chips. The other two went for the mixed grill. I wouldn’t usually order meat at a place that primarily serves seafood, but their meal looked amazing and there was certainly no complaints! The Cod and chips was also so so good. A large portion was ENORMOUS — but really great quality! I’m pretty sure the staff would be be happy for you to take it home.
Staff were lovely and attentive, old school décor that is keeping with the feel of the place.
Well worth going — probably even popping into the take away next door if you’re stuck for time!

Excellent Fish n Chips. eat in their licensed restaurant or take away. Friendly service reasonable prices generous portions. A bonus for those who like a good beer they also do Master Brew to wash it all down

Haven’t eaten here since last year.
But yes good fish and chips — take away and sit down. Friendly staff.
You can have your fish without batter (grilled if I remember) — last time I went I had plaice and it was very good with a salad… so not really fish and chips but my friend had the Haddock and chips — and was beaming like a Cheshire cat so that’s a good sign.

Fish and chip fan’s should come here if you hav’nt already. This place has a lovely restaurant next door to the actual fish shop.
The staff are very friendly and the food itself is very nice indeed.
Most fish shops fail to produce decent chips but, these come out on top and everything including the chips is fresh.
Price-​wise Marino’s is very reasonable and worth every penny in my opinion.
