We called ahead on a friday to see if they could seat 8 of us after a disastrous attempt somewhere else. They had a spare table and would be no problem we were told. We arrived and were promptly and warmly greeted by the Maitre D and then shown to the bar area for a pre dinner cocktail where we were also presented with the menu to order dinner. The Bartender(CUTE!) delivered our drinks — all of them were delicious(except for the piña colada, which was just lacking in flavour), and then the waiter returned to take our order. we all ordered entrees and mains and we were left to enjoy our drinks. With near perfect timing, as we finished our drinks, a waitress appeared and told us our entrees were nearly ready and that she would lead us to our table. We got seated and then the entrees were served. A few of us had the scallops, we also ordered the soup, mussels and the baked goats cheese. All of the entrees were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. There was lots of passing back and forth and many«You have to taste this» A short while later the Mains were served and the same comments apply. We had ordered steaks, the char grilled chicken, seared calves liver and the rack of lamb. Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious. From the ambience to the service, the food, the décor and the staff, I really couldn’t fault anything about The Millhouse. It made for an absolutely delightful night out for a special occaision. Definitely will be back. A+ all the way.
