Absolutely fantastic! Will definately be visiting again! Food is amazing… only down side is price of drinks… £5+ for a pint. I recommend the hottest chicken wings for starters with some cheesy nachos!

What an awesome restaurant. The food is huge, hot and full of flavour, the décor is eye-catching and appealing, and the service is good. This place beats its competition hands-down for flavour and value. Take Chiquitos, for example; for me it used to be the go-to place for fajitas and enchilladas. Not now I’ve discovered this place! Take your friends here and get some food on the table, and wash it down with a jug of sangria. It’ll be one of your best nights. Just try and forget the fact that it’s in a shopping centre!

A fantastic restaurant to have good food and catch up with friends or partners. Open airy and spacious restaurant with an impressive bar serving an array of cocktails, shots, wine and some beers. Brahma on tap. The service is friendly however slow. We waited for our food longer than anticipated, however when the food arrived it was faultless and very tasty indeed. Prices are slightly on the expensive side however we used a 2 for 1 groupon voucher which made the whole meal a bargain. Presentation of food is perfect and the ambience is very cool and chilled out. Located in touchwood Solihull, near cash machines and opposite the Cineworld cinema. If you go in the evening parking in touchwood is only £1.50 for 2 hours. I recommend this place, especially if you have vouchers.

Have been here twice now. It’s in a great location in Touchwood, right opposite the cinema. The staff are really friendly and efficient, it’s got fun and colourful decoration and it’s big enough that you can always get a table straight away. The focus of the menu is Mexican– burritos, enchiladas etc with a variety of fillings. There are also other tex-mex and straightforward American options available. I would definitely recommend going for an enchilada as I did the first time I visited. I had it filled with pulled pork, which was really. It had a spicy tang to it but wasn’t too hot. It doesn’t look much, but it’s filling and satisfying. The second time I visited, my Dad had a steak enchilada and he enjoyed it as much as I had enjoyed mine. On my second visit I had Cajun BBQ chicken. I found this very dry and disappointing, so I will definitely stick to the more traditional options in future. The starters are pretty good, I recommend picking a few and sharing. This is only 3 stars because while there is nothing wrong with it(apart from my BBQ chicken!) it didn’t overwhelm me. I probably will go back but I’m not bothered if I don’t. I feel that it would be wise for them to focus on what they do well– fajitas and so on.

My girlfriend and I took my daughter here for dinner as she has come to like Mexican food, and it’s one of our favourites too. We went on a Thursday evening, so it wasn’t packed which was quite nice. A cursory glance at the menu before we entered told me that this wasn’t going to be a cheap meal, so I really hoped that it would be good. The staff are friendly and helpful here, and showed us to a booth almost immediately. The layout of this restaurant is quite spacious, and they can move tables around to suit one or two people, up to rather charge groups. They also have some 4 seater booths along one wall. The thing that’s most striking as you go in is the lighting. Quite unusual, but very nice, and not too bright. They lower it slightly as the evening goes on. Everything is laid out nicely and quite modern inside, rather than loud gaudy colours you often get in South American style restaurants, but you still get the vibe from the overall colour scheme and cacti along the walls. We started with one of the appetisers to share, the Santa Fe Sampler which lists BBQ pulled pork and cheese quesadilla, Mexican chicken spring rolls, guacamole, pico de gallo salsa, chorizo and tortilla chips. At £10.95 I’d say it’s £4 overpriced. It arrives on a foot high metal stand served in a wide bowl. It looks impressive at first glance, however the reason it’s piled so high is because the quesadilla and spring rolls are placed on top of a lot of salad, and a handful go tortilla chips. The is guacamole and salsa, but only about a spoonful of each. It tasted nice, but very expensive for what you get. For the main course, we all decided upon the Chimichangas. I had pulled pork, my girlfriend had steak, and my daughter had chicken. When they arrived, my worries about tiny portions were dispelled, and they tasted amazing! The girls struggled to get through theirs, so I managed to have a small taste of each(just for this review of course) to get a good impression of the quality overall. The chimichangas are fried, and stuffed full of meat with very flavoursome sauce and seasoning with peppers and onions. On top is a dash of guacamole and sour cream, and they are served on a bed of spiced rice and black beans. They look very appetising, and taste great! All of the chimichangas range from £9.95 for veggie to £12.50 for fajita steak. Again, perhaps a little overpriced for what you get, but the presentation and flavour go some way to make up for this. If you like Mexican food and want to try somewhere different, then I’d give this place a try before you discount it solely on price as it’s great good.
