Homely pub that is known locally for it’s hearty and great tasting food. Regular menu items include shepherds pie, lasagne, fish and other staple pub fare supplemented by a daily changing specials board. Many dishes have an option for ‘the smaller appetite’. Food is a bit pricer than some of the local pubs, but also offers a separate dining room as well as the main bar seating and a cosy atmosphere. The food is always good and piping hot.
