Hygiene Issues
I live locally to Planet Spice and have been considering eating there until just today. I was walking home past the premises when I noticed three members of staff by a large industrial wheelie bin outside the premises. One, a waiter, was in the bin trying to compress the contents whilst another waiter and a member of kitchen staff were using their hands to assist with this. I have no major issue with them using their hands, these I’m sure would be washed, however I find it less likely the waiter in the bin would be washing his shoes or trousers in the middle of opening hours. Perhaps I’m overly fussy but I take the preparation of food and the cleanliness of the person delivering it to the table very seriously. This just puts doubts in my mind as to the standards of this restaurant and I won’t be attending it any time soon.
