Southern Fried Chicken

delicious but delivery guy braught us back the same cold pizza which he had in is car for about half an hour.
i rang up to tell them before he even got to the end of my street that he had forgotten to give us it but i think he must of done the rest of his deliverys first, you would of thaught they’d of sent out a fresh hot pizza i couldnt believe the nerve of it.
to add to that they are really poor time keepers, not be going back, which is a shame because the food IS delicious, probs best off picking it up yourself

Southern fried chicken is a fairly new addition to Ocean Road’s restaurant scene. They are a takeaway shop which sells not only southern fried chicken (hence the name ;)) but they also sell pizzas, burgers, chips, kebabs and other stuff. They offer a delivery service which is very reasonable so long as you live within the South Shields area — it is a couple of quid if your order is under £10, and it is free delivery if your order is over £10! We have had takeaways delivered a few times and the waiting time has ranged from a very quick 10-​minutes, to a much longer wait of 40-​minutes so I guess it varies depending on how busy they are in the shop! Their portions are very good value — I would recommend the kebabs and also the pizzas. Strangely enough despite them being a southern fried chicken restaurant, I can’t comment on their chicken-​based takeaways as I have never tried them! They are a good takeaway though, it’s worth a gander at their menu if you’re in the town and fancy a bite to eat.
