I instructed Bastows to act for me on a barter arrangement where we exchanged professional services with no money to change hands. A few weeks in Bastows changed this to a fee based arrangement. There fees came in at twice their estimate.. I raised my concerns about costs and the firms capability to handle my complex case. The firm stopped acting for me mid case and about 6 weeks before an important hearing. Sadly I have had to take my complaints to the Legal Ombudsman. I could not recommend the firm based on my experience. This review is based on facts which are true and form my honest opinion of the firm.
