I have been going here for years and over time it has changed management and changed style. In the old days it has a really great authentic Italian feel tables close together Italian waiters and a really cosy atmosphere. Since it changed a few years ago I felt it lost that charm and turned into another Italian type restaurant without the authenticity. Parking is a nightmare if the theatre is on as it has no direct parking. Best to go down the hill and try your luck in the multi story at the back of the BBC (past the station). The food is good though and I would recommend the deserts.
