Just for fun has everything you need for a fancy dress party and more!
A decent sized shop that is just away from the main city centre high street and right next door to a petrol station!
You can get everything you need here and they also sell things for wedding, hen nights, stag do’s and other generic parties.
As well as costumes you can buy they also have a large range of fancy dress costumes to hire! In the past i have hired a scarlet o hara costume!
When it was my friends hen night we were able to get L plate and hen night balloons, willy straws, party bag items and dares!
Using just for fun i have managed to dress up as a cowgirl, a black fairy, a moulin rouge girl and scarlet o hara! I really want to try there tinkerbell costume as well as it looks so cute!
Make sure you get in there early on special occasions. For example on Halloween at about 1pm it was one in one out at the door! If this is the case there is a larger store in Hedge End.

This place is so funny! I have always found something that I needed for a party. I bought loads of novelty items for my sisters hen do and had a great time choosing items. They have pretty much anything you could imagine from full fancy dress costumes to wigs, hats, make up the list goes on. The prices are reasonable and I think you would be hard pushed not to find what you wanted. A word of warning if you need a large costume then try to pre-​book it. Don’t do what I did and just turn up expecting them to have what you want. Some costumes are very popular and you can hire out for a week so items are not always there.

I really like this store as it is fun and has some amusing things in it. I like the way it is laid out, in 3 parts, one for fancy dress, one for jokes and novelty items and one for party stuff. They stock a wide range of things from wigs to costumes to napkins and party poppers. Its like a one stop shop if you are throwing any kind of event. The shop offers blowing up balloons for you and you can collect later and the fancy dress costumes can be hired for a reasonable price if you are don’t want to buy one. The shop is tidy and organised and the staff are friendly and helpful. It looks like they really enjoy their job which is great to see.
