Extremely good quality of food in an all you can eat buffet, Very good quality of service! A bit pricy but you pay for what you get! Definitely worth 5 stars.

As regular visitors to the The Little Buddha we do receive special treatment, food can vary (dependant on how busy they are although I would say the busier the better as food is hotter and quicker to arrive) the staff can be a little but rushed when serving, but they are busy and they pride themselves on quick service, lots of food and a food price. We never leave less than stuffed: p

Little Buddha is, in one word, Awesome! The concept of a Chinese Buffett, but with waiter service is something that has to be experienced, and it’s worth it!
The staff are friendly, welcoming, and the restaurant has an atmosphere all of its own! Also, during Chinese New Year, in February, the restaurant often serves a special menu, and occasionally provides a traditional Lion Dance as entertainment. With a menu that’s sure to appeal to everyone, and an All you can eat option, it really is the best value for money restaurant in the city!

I visited Little Buddha very late one evening with a friend. They were closing within 30 minutes of us arriving at their door but they very kindly agreed to seat and serve us. We
ordered a starter and main courses but requested they come out together so the kitchen could clear up and they obliged. The service was fast and efficient, although that could be because they wanted to get rid of us! The food had reasonable sized portions and was tasty especially the crispy duck and pancakes. We ordered a taxi while we waited which arrived just as we were finished and we left. The staff
were very friendly and we didn’t feel rushed although were aware of the time and that we were the only ones left in the restaurant. I think we would probably return when we had more time to enjoy the food.

We were looking for a good all you can eat chinese in Southampton, and stumbled across Little Buddha in Shirley High Street.
Always walked past it but never gone in, always looked busy, and rightly so, For a decent price you get choice of the whole menu and as much of it as you can.
Only rule is always clear you’re plate!
Otherwise theres a good selection of dishes, crispy duck is included, the staff are friendly and ready to explain about any of the dishes.
They serve good drinks at reasonable prices and don’t hurry you with any part of you’re meal, and keep asking if you want more.
Very nice and would definitely go back!
