McDonald’s is self-​explanatory. Anyone who’s grown up in the 1980’s is well aware of the McDonald’s phenomenon. Personally, I think their breakfast menu is probably the best things they do, since it’s the closest thing to a true American breakfast available in the UK. Pancakes with Sausage and Syrup is wonderful, as are their muffins, and a large coffee to go with it is very nice too! The lunch menu isn’t bad, but really only good for when you’re in a rush and need something for something’s sake.

This mcdonalds is situated right at the top of west quay in the food hall floor. With an open plan look to the restaurant, there is no actual seating within the restaurant, but outside in the hall along with all the other food outlets.
This branch seems pretty organised, i’ve never been here and had to wait long to get served even on a saturday when it’s really busy!
On the other hand, getting a table to eat what you’ve just bought is another thing altogether! Very busy up here at weekends, i’d almost say dont bother, but i know there’s not a great deal more on offer on the high street either!

This McDonalds is situated on the very top of West Quay on the food court level. It is extremely hectic up there as it houses all the food establishments on this level. Seating can be a problem as it’s so busy. Despite having large queues they seem to manage to move them quickly, alot quicker than some of the other foot outlets. The staff are generally good at their jobs. Sometimes tables aren’t cleared down quick enough and so you have to sit at a dirty table which isn’t pleasant. I’d also like to see the highchairs cleaned more thoroughly.

I’m not a huge fan of McDonald’s but my child is! Situated at the top of West Quay, along with the other resturants, it is usually very busy and there is rarely enough seating. The queues can be quite long at times and I sometimes find staff more concerned with chatting to their colleagues than serving food! But its cheap and that has to be a bonus!

A good but busy McDonalds. Even though there are plenty of people taking orders at a time you can sometimes be waiting a while for your order. It is the same as all other McDonalds really. There are plenty of seats upstairs as well as seating in the food court. It is kept clean most of the time and most of the staff are friendly.
