A nice little coffee spot in the southern Old Town which serves good roast, a mean flat white, and a small selection of ales and artisanal soda drinks. While the single origin can come through a little ropey, almost burnt, the regular blend is great and sits well on the tongue. There is free, decent wifi, and the staff haven’t seemed to mind when I asked if I could make a couple of big downloads over it. The only big criticism I can find is that the service is slow, slower than the number of staff they have on should be, this is likely a bottleneck on the coffee machine. They have an acoustic night on Thursdays too, I’ve neither attended nor played, but when walking past it’s sounded quite decent(I guess these things are not really in their control so YMMV).

Not a bad café in downtown Southampton. The décor and atmosphere are nice, and the staff are friendly too. Unfortunately, the drinks disappointed. I had a hot chocolate, which seemed watery and lukewarm, and despite ordering and paying for marshmallows, these were not served with the drink. My partner’s drink was also underwhelming. We did have some tasty baked goods, a brownie and a carrot cake, which brought up the overall experience. The place is nice, with great staff, but I hope the drinks are more exciting on our next visit.

Great coffee house — great location and quirky setting. The food was tasty too! Plus the staff were incredibly helpful — I brought my parents along and the chef prepared something for my mother specially — because she has coeliacs, and we weren’t made to feel awkward — amazing service!

The five of us piled in here, sheltering from a Saturday shower. It’s a cute place, very spacious and comfortable. The coffee was good, maybe a bit cold but well made. Not a very large selection of food on offer for breakfast(or lunch) and it took forever to get to us. Good place to pop in for a coffee and a quick board game(they have selection in the corner) but not a meal.

Probably the best café in Southampton. Spacious, comfortable, great food and drink(Try the roast beef on brown!), lovely staff, wifi. They even have good taste in music. What’s not to like?
