The basics of a Nandos are all present here, but with the added novelty of being in a loud, chaotic foodhall. As per expectation the food was fine, if slightly slower due probably to the size of the kitchen, nice and spicy. It’s Nandos. But, the ambience was just awful; the soundscape was the exact middle ground between children’s crèche and pod of whales mating. Lights were bright and garish. The décor foodhall standard. Nandos good is good, but with an actual Nandos restaurant only a few minutes walk away I can’t see why you’d chose to eat at this one.

Love Nando’s! I always go when I’m back home. No complaints about this particular one. Food was good, service was friendly. I wish to come back soon!

The staff here is really attentive, and I think Nando’s in the UK is a little tastier/different to the ones in Canada! My only problem was that I was seated at the table closest to the entrance next to some very rowdy/rude boys when there were several other empty tables. Perhaps I should have spoken up but they left soon after I was seated.

Excellent chicken dishes, especially for those who like spicy food. Problem with the West Quay shopping centre Nando’s is that it closes early(7pm) like everything else in the mall(and most other shops in town, it seems). They have awesome sides… excellent corn, coleslaw, garlic bread. Prices are also relatively reasonable.

I am a mega fan of Nando’s chain and when one opened up in West Quay Shopping Centre I was really looking forward to it. The only problem with this branch of Nando’s is the seating and the wait times. I have waited for up to an hour before to be seated, its almost a victim of its on success. Despite being busy most of the time the food arrives quickly and presented well. The staff are friendly and well presented and always attentive. The food here is like the rest of the restaurant chain, amazing! My big tip is to go to Nando’s and put your name down before doing a little more shopping — that way you can enjoy the day without having to wait!

I really dislike this particular Nando’s as it’s just so small and there is always a stupidly long wait time. The food is of the usual Nando’s standards, but the overall experience is let down by the ridiculously small premises. I find it very disappointing that they have not sought a larger venue, as the capacity issue has been on going for a L-O-N-G time. Don’t even waste your time going to this Nando’s, the one is Eastleigh is only a stones throw away, is much bigger and doesn’t have(what seems like a 3 days wait) BUT, If you really can’t stay away from the Southampton restaurant, you may want to bring a tent for the queue as you’re likely to be there for quite some time.

One thing to be aware of is the queue. There is always one! Once you are seated the service(bringing the food to you) did not take as long as I had expected. Food tastes as you would expect from Nandos. Don’t come here if you are not prepapred to wait though

I generally love Nando’s Delicious food, at a low price. Unfortunately the one time I went to the Southampton branch it was so busy they were turning people away, offering a waiting time of 40 minutes.
