Olive Tree Restaurant

The food is very good, the fish especially. However, the service charge was very high, about 15% and was included in the bill. If we could have chosen how much to tip we would have given 5 stars but with no choice it´s 4.

They do a reasonably good lunch menu, and the place is great for al fresco pavement dining in the summer.
Sadly, what let it down on this occasion was the service — not very friendly at all. It felt a bit like we were an annoyance just being there. And I’m pretty sure it was the management/​owners that were serving us. Maybe they were having an off day, but it has made a lasting impression. With many other good options on Oxford Street, it’s unlikely we’ll be returning any time soon.

Very nice. The Olive Tree is an excellent choice for fresh, delicious, well presented food. A great menu and specials board that changes daily makes it easy to find something for everyone, Coeliacs too. Good wine choices and nice atmosphere on Oxford Street.

Good food. Expensive. The service was prompt and staff were polite.

The olive tree is a lovely laid back restaurant serving some really decent food. They usually have a really good selection of fish dishes on the specials board and the peaella is very tasty indeed. Worth a visit!

I have been to the Olive Tree many times over the last 10 years. I t has steadily been getting more and more expensive we paid over £70 for a bottle of house red a shared starter 2 main courses and a shared deserthowever it’s great to go on a Sunday as they have live music there and the ambiance is very chilled. The restaurant is not the biggest and you will get turned down if you haven’t booked on a weekend! Parking can get tricky on Oxford street so drive to the opposite street with the large outdoor car park and walk over. It’s a very modern restaurant inside and it has a lot of fresh dishes on the blackboard that change daily. Lovely for a special night out but be prepared to pay the prices!
