Both subways in Southend are clean and quick. Lovely food, good deals and great after a night out — hte one at the top of the high street is open till late!

This is the second Subway shop to open in Southend — it’s located at the bottom of the high street, next to the Royals shopping complex. Because it is so new it’s always clean, it’s well laid out and there is much more space to queue near the counter, unlike the old Subway. The other Subway has loud music playing through dodgy speakers, but this branch is much quieter and more pleasant to eat in. Good, fresh subs with healthy fillings — a great cheap alternative for lunch.

First Subway experience was in Ontario, Canada. This shop, located close to the royals shopping complex, is much better than the old High Street location. Offer a good choice of fresh ingredients, and great to be able to choose your own fillings.
