Parking was better in their old location at the end of Lord St, but this is a very nice building and ambience(the old Ask restaurant in the Old Bank). I’d never tried any of their new Romano pizzas but both the Etna, which is apparently very popular, and the Emilia were very tasty(yes, I enjoyed my first visit so much that I went back for another try). These are real pizzas, not like the ersatz stuff served up by Dominos and the like. If you like mushrooms, you’ll find the Emilia very tasty, but there’s a wide range of pizzas, and also some good salads, to be had here. Pizza Express have managed to maintain their quality despite expanding all over the country, and I’ve actually never been disappointed by a meal at any of the venues I’ve tried.

Located at the end of Lord Street near the Court building there is plenty of car parking opposite by Farm Foods if you visit in the evening. Have been a few times first visit was New Years Eve and despite the fact they were busy food was excellent. Pizzas are always good(as in my opinion Pizza Express pizzas are) and I think they’re probably better than the other chains in the town if a little expensive.

Unusual location on the corner of Lord Street at the end of the main shopping area. Large glass windows let you look in from the outside. Always looked interesting but we had never tried it. Had a meal on a Sunday using one of their vouchers that gave 2 for 1. Impressed with the choice. Service was OK but they were a little under staffed due to the high interest from the vouchers. Food was good but no particularly special, I would not have been happy if I had paid full price for it.
