Lovely local pub where locals and students mix every day. Great prices before 8, then average prices. Is a bit of a dive bar as it doesn’t serve food, have any acts playing except a DJ on weekends, and has the standard assortment of drinks.
Does need freshening up and better planned seating arrangements with a proper scrubbing down, but one cannot help but come back week after week due to the awesome clientele, great music and good beer.

Not a bad little pub during the day, the Dog has a widely stocked bar and lots of seats. There are also two pool tables, which are pretty cheap to play at.
Bar is fairly priced, and is attached to The Duck next door, which does real ale.
My only problem wit this place is that it is very student orientated, so you couldnt sit and have a quiet drink in the evenings.

Predominantly a student pub, so it pretty basic but a good place to get a drink.
Plays loud music– mainly rock music so attracts a restricted audience.
Generally is a good place to socialise, has pool tables and a large seating area. Has live acts sometimes and special deals on drinks on certain nights of the week.
Drinks can be quite expensive but in keeping with the area.
