Just about the worst fish and chips I have ever had. Had two take away Cod and chips, the batter on the fish was black and soggy, the chips were also black and soggy. I always thought batter was supposed to be golden and crispy, not at this establishment. The premises are for sale, it is easy to see why if they serve fish and chips like this.

A small fish and chip shop/​restaurant set along the main road on your left as your coming from Elland. There is a small restaurant downstairs with a small car park outside. I always go on a Friday evening and is relatively quiet but don’t let this put you off as the fish is sublime and the chefcook/​owner always comes to check how you are and if you’ve njoyed yourself. unlimited refills of pop and massive portions, especially of you go for the jumdo fish which coms with around a sack of tatties worth of chips
