Nice coffee and cake quality, what spoiled completely our experience was the instant pressure from the staff to order more.
Shame, a real put off that made us decide to never return.

Nicely done out café with outdoor seating, friendly and efficient service and a level of trade that is testament; it is often pretty busy, particularly weekend mornings when the locals come out to soak up hangovers with the traditional English breakfast fayre. If you can get in it’s a nice place to stop for a coffee, pastry or something more substantial. There was a rumour it may open in the evenings but this has yet to transpire. Only thing pulling it back from four stars is the accoustics are unforgiving and every cutlery clatter or kid’s whine resonates somewhat!

This place is great for breakfast or lunch. I like the porridge with honey for breakfast. At lunch this is one of the two places in town I know that serve haloumi. They have great triple decker toasted sandwiches and their omelettes with chips are great. They do some great all day breakfasts too if you’re very very hungry.
They have a huge range of vegetarian food and the coffee is well worth a visit.
This is a great place to drop into on the way to or from the station as it’s not right in the centre of town.
