I’ve been twice. Once with my family of four and once on my own. My husband is allergic to gluten and the chef was wonderful. Everything is easily GF. While I am a vegetarian, my children and hubby were all really happy with the chicken dishes. Everything looked an smelled fresh and delicious. The prices were a bit toward cheap… actually, I thought it was a tremendously well-priced menu. Sandwiches were less than 4 gbp, as I recall. I had the portobello sandwich. It was perfect: seasoned, flavourful, on a light, toasted roll. Most things come with the house’s special chips. The owners and chefs seem very proud of the chips, and they are lovely, but I was more impressed with the sandwich. I also had the mushroom soup, on another visit. It was really perfect, too, and I can be very critical of soup. All in all, I’m happy to have the place in the neighbourhood.
