Der Ocean Grill liegt direkt am Hafen von St. Ives, unbedingt einen der wenigen Plätzen im Freien reservieren und den Trubel beobachten.
Der Service ist sehr freundlich und flott, Weinauswahl umfangreich, Flaschenpreise vernünftig kalkuliert.
Es gibt eine reichhaltige Auswahl an Startern und Hauptspeisen (Tagesspezialitäten auf zwei Schiefertafeln) mit Hauptaugenmerk auf Seafood (i.d.R. Tagesfang aus der Umgebung), die Qualität ist sehr gut, beim Würzen ist man sehr zurückhaltend.
Wir hatten u.a. butterzarten Tintenfisch, Seeteufel, Krebsfleisch.

Essen eher mittelmäßig, schlecht gewürzt. Inneneinrichtung und Service aber sehr gut. Würde ich nicht noch einmal besuchen.

We had a gorgeous evening with superb food. The locally caught seafood was lovely and fresh, the steaks (local produce) were tender and our puddings were very, very tasty. The staff were attentive and friendly. We enjoyed everything and look forward to coming back.

Fantastic, Fantastic, Fantastic! We were in St Ives for two nights and we actually ate here twice. We had breakfast and dinner there in the same day. For breakfast I had blueberry pancakes that were amazing! Dinner I had pizza which was really good but I actually had dinner envy looking around. We shared a pitcher of sangria which was super yummy too. The service was great, the staff was friendly and the view from here is amazing! If you are in St. Ives I highly suggest you give this place a try!

The Ocean Grill is one of the best restaurants in St.Ives.
It is situated on the sea front and if you get a seat by the window you have an excellent view out over the beach and sea.
The staff are very friendly and can’t do enough to help you.
There is a wide range of food and they do an excellent fish and chips. The portions are also very large — I have a big appetite but couldn’t finish my main course!
The prices aren’t the cheapest available but given the quality of the food and the location it is good value for money.

5 Stars is not enough for this restaurant. Ocean Grill is such a diamond of St. Ives!!! Food is impeccable, very very fresh and delicious indeed plus the price is not a wallet killer. Service is ace, I could say flawless, staff are well-​trained and very understanding. Special requests will never be rejected.
Starters, main courses, desserts, 2 bottles of wine, coffee, tea and liquor for 4 people… altogether is around £30 each (more or less). This is one of the highly recomended places in St. Ives.
