The Surgery changed its name to Palmers about 3 months ago. Apart from a new sofa downstairs, and blocking out any natural light from upstairs there havnt been many changes. The surgery used to be cool but not many people go there anymore, its generally just the place where people go when nowhere else is open. The drinks are over priced.
Its a good place for private parties because the rooms are open plan and big enough to fit a fair few people in.
Enough space for a band to play upstairs although they dont really put bands on anymore. They used to hold a comedy night there sometimes but Im not sure if thats still going on.
