The décor is deceiving: black table cloths with white linen napkins, and wait staff with black shirts and pants. And the menu is what you would expect: Thai curries and stir fries. The selection was limited, but there was one red, one green, and one yellow curry. But the food that came is not Thai as I’ve had it anywhere else. Perhaps it’s an interpretation of Thai cuisine by Indian cooks. The prawn crackers thick and unappealing, seeded with the peppery spices from papadams. The coconut curry was on the dry side, and the stir fry, while adequately Thai, wasn’t spectacular. I think the final straw was when I asked that the remaining 2⁄3 of the meal get packed to go. their answer: Oh, we do not do that, madam. Really? I really miss good Thai food, and I’ve had the range of it, but I won’t be returning here for my Thai fix.
