It’s another Stockport pub that’s has lot of real ale and make their own. I must say I really enjoyed the elderflower ale I had there. The décor in here is lovely, it just be done up. The loo are nice with a chalkboard, so if you have anything witty to say. They don’t let children in so just grown up. They do pies. I thought they did Lord of the Pies pies but they don’t any more. I was really looking forward to one and the pies they do now are good but not as good as Lord of the Pies.

The Hope is a fantastic craft beer pub and micro brewery situated on the A6 and just down the road from other amazing beer havens the Crown and Magnet. With inhouse brewery’Fool Hardy’ they brew up some fantastic beers across all ranges that are fairly cost effective for a night out. The venue is pretty large with 2 big rooms for drinking, plus a little bit of outdoor space for if you’re a smoker /the sun is shining. It’s an old boozer with a lot of character that was recently refurbed so it’s a lovely place for a few beers! They have a fantastic range of local, Uk and American craft beer — sometimes on tap but always stocked in bottles too. If you’re after craft beer at low low prices then this is the place for you. I love the Hope — you should too!
