It’s such a bad stadium, that it was originally named #FailPark. OK not really. It’s in Stoke-On-Trent and it’s a nice rival for the Britannia in terms of atmosphere. It’s a yellowy stadium, it doesn’t really have closed in sides, but it has cool houses towering over some of the sides, and it’s pretty big with 19k people allowed in here. First-Hand Experience: More info about my personal experience at this stadium — Port Vale are one of my fave teams that are not in the Premier League. Plus Robbie Williams supports them. Plus Stoke On Trent(where they are located) sells Oatcakes and nobody else does. Amazing breakfast item btw. Go to Foley’s. Phenomenal. So I’ve been to this stadium more times than I can count. I’ve sadly only seen Port Vale play here once, but it was a great experience. I won’t lie, it’s nowhere near as fancy as the Britannia, and it needs a facelift. But the crowd are so intense and it’s so much fun to watch games, here, I have to give it a 4. I was last here in 2014(eating Oatcakes… not kidding), and will be back in summer 2016 or Autumn maybe. I’ve been to most UK&US stadiums, due to lifelong obsessions with travel, sport & especially footy(soccer to Americans). Born & raised in England, I followed Oxford United(hometown team) to stadia all over the country at away games, and later Liverpool(fave team) around. Every stadium review — like all my reviews — are from first-hand personal experience, usually from several visits. In 2011, I was on music tour in the UK, and visited most stadiums for fun in my spare time. As recently as Fall 2014, when I was«stuck» in UK for 3 months, I went to hundreds yet again while travelling. I have pictures of me at most, which I’ll post later. Also, when back in UK I’ll take more pix, and add more stadia! *** return to regular review *** It opened in 1950 and is a really great stadium that hopefully will see Premier League football someday. You can often see Robbie Williams here, getting naked and ripping off his skin in front of the roller girls.
