The food is always hit or miss along with the staffs attitudes. Absolutely not family friendly. Although marketed by the brewery as a family friendly pub. You can hear the staff loudly groan when they see children coming in. My child didn’t leave their seat the whole time we were there, and we were treated like second class citizens. I asked for a pen and the bar maid stomped down the other end of the bar and moaned about us. The food: I have been numerous times and wont be going again, I have been served frozen new potatoes, eggs very undercooked, salad that is well past its best being brown and slimey, flat cokethe list goes on. My main problem is the way youre treated, I work hard for my wage, and going out for a meal is a treat, I will be spending it elsewhere. This is my local pub but I will make the extra few minutes into town from now on. The landlords attitude stinks. I used to run a brewery owned pub myself, you can’t get away with treating customers like he does. People will stop coming. The same local people who would spend all year round, not just in the summer.

One of the worst pubs in Stratford I have ever had the misfortune to go to. Tables cleared every 2 hours or so, children running riot whilst their parents get absolutely plastered . Clientele very down market and rude, with no consideration for anyone else, food appalling

Lovely pub especially since its refurb. The food is lovely and the staff very nice. It is situated out of town in Shottery but is well worth a visit.

This is a lovely pub tucked away on the main tourist route by Anna HAtahaway’s Cottage. The food is remarkably good although the overall pub is quite small. the majority of customers are local and are very friendly. The choice of beers is not massive but whoever takes care of the ales does a lovely job and I would go as far as sayong that they serve the best pint in Stratford. Parking is not great as the pub is parked on a busy one way mini bypass. however, once parked, there are several other nice restaurants to choose from once you have had a drink
