Very Friendly Staff. The Service was Great. The Breakfast very Delicious. It’s one of my Favourite Hotels in Britain.

The Sunderland Marriott sits on the shores of the North Atlantic. Have lunch or dinner while enjoy the breathtaking views. The food is well prepared and the Service Staff is wonderful. They heard that our young daughter played piano, so they invited her to sit at their white piano and play for the guests. That evening, everyone had a great time, singing songs, laughing, and gathering around our 10-​year-​old daughter as she played.
The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the Maid Service does everything to perfection. If you get the Corner Suite, your views of the North Atlantic are beyond belief.

I enjoyed my stay at marriott hotel. my husband and i stayed there after a function we had been to the night before. The hotel is located on the sea front the views along the coastline were lovely. The hotel itself was very clean with luxurious rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was a problem for them. The food was appetising and absolutaly lovely. We both enjoyed the food and the hotel was definately one of the better ones in sunderland. Highly recommended to stay overnight, sunderland city centre is about 10 minutes in a taxi and worth a visit.

I have just returned from a one night stay at this hotel. The overall experience was very positive. Check in was quick and efficient, the staff seemed very professional. I had requested a sea view room when I made the booking and this is exactly what I was given, with stunning views of the coastline. The rooms are immaculate with a king size bed and luxurious bedding. The only reason I have not rated this hotel a ‘5’ is because of the service at breakfast. We had been seated a good 10 minutes before they served us our tea and coffee. The breakfast was self service but the food was not replenished quick enough and there was always empty serving dishes, resulting in a constant queue of people waiting for the next batch to come out. Apart from the issue at breakfast, our stay was excellent and I cannot fault anything. This is a brilliant value for money hotel.
