Costa Coffee

Today was service with a smile! Much better than yesterday! Fast service, fresh seasonal treats and an iced latte that was full of iced latte as opposed to lumps of ice like some places. Feeling much better about working from Costa this morning.

In today staff very friendly and helpfull however like others i found the place tatty and score marks on the floor where tables Had been dragged over the floorthe coffee i found disgusting but thats probably my taste as plenty of others seemed to enjoy it.

I visited the Costa in Mere Green at 1130am and unlike the previous poster had a lovely experience. I was in Mere Green for an appointment and found Costa by chance. Seemed to be lots of locals but i still felt very welcomed. Staff all seemed friendly too.
Place was quite busy at the time of my visit but the coffee tasted great (to Costa standard) and the fridges were well stocked with sandwiches & cakes which sorted out my early lunch nicely.
Now that i’ve found costa in Mere Green i shall be popping back there i’m sure on any future visits.

Ugghh — tastes of dirty dishwater, along with out of character poor service and delivery, unusual for generally high standards at Costa.
OK, it was quarter to 6 and the café shuts at 6, but made to feel unwelcome, a pain in the butt coming in asking for one last Americano. AND, oh no, wanted hot milk with it, had to use one of their clean, neatly stacked metal jugs to heat up the milk specially.
If open, should provide full service as if open, otherwise shut the shop up and keep the nuisance customers out.
Result — a cup of take-​away dishwater — would have been better off scooping out the drain cover in the car park where sat mithering about the waste of the day’s precious ration of caffeine hit.
Normally a great fan of Costa — this dingy backwater located up a desolate little concrete and brick passageway is definitely off the coffee highway — avoid — go to the nearby Sainsbury’s café, buy your own coffee making machine, pop ProPlus caffeine tablets, drink puddle water, turn to meths.
