As garden centres go this is one of the best I’ve visited. The team is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to all things about your garden. The range on offer is extensive. There’s a large outdoor area showcasing a great range of water features, garden furniture, ornaments, lighting, fencing, landscaping, trees, plants, the list goes on. The company has just bought the building next door which was my favourite Thai restaurant until it sadly closed in 2009, it’s a large building (pictured) which they have turned into a café and showroom. This has also enabled them to extend the outdoor area to feature more garden products. There’s a large free car park on the front.

Offering almost anything from plants, water features and aquatics to tea, coffee and homemade cakes, this unusual, family-​owned garden centre is wonderfully unique and well worth a visit. The store has its own, large car park and its coffee shop has recently been renovated to accommodate ample seating and an all-​new kitchen.
The staff in the aquatics centre really seem to know their stuff and the tea room team offers high quality customer service and a very diverse menu. Plants, fish and domestic aquariums are all very competitively priced and staff are more than happy to help customers carry their purchases back their cars. The upmarket café, however, is pricey and often annoyingly overstaffed, making it difficult to comfortably relax and enjoy the tea room’s otherwise rather elegant ambience.
