I really am kicking myself for only just finding this little gem. I drive past here to one of the places I regularly work at all the time and often I am starving as it is approaching lunchtime. Normally I grab a sandwich from a well known deli bar which isn’t really where I want to spend my money but I didn’t know I had options. Until now.
This place is a bakery and sandwich shop. They made me up a fresh lunchtime bread based snack quick smart. They also have some great loaves and cakes for sale. I agree with the previous reviewer about the décor inside but most customers seem to be taking away so I’m not sure that is important. Yes there is seating outside if you are lucky with the weather.

This alluring, quaint bakery-​come-​sandwich shop offers outdoor seating, off-​road parking and an excellent location right in the middle of Walmley Village. Fresh bread, hot sandwiches and handmade cakes are all available to either it in or take away, and The Village Pantry’s pleasant outdoor seating area is a great place to enjoy a coffee and a cake with friends on a warm summer’s afternoon, especially as outside catering is offered.
Inside, however, things are a completely different story. The seating area is very cramped, with tables placed uncomfortably close together and everything appears to be covered in dust and dirt. I’d definitely recommend saving a visit here for a nice day.
