Sadly, this place closed down suddenly sometime ago now.

Delicious food and a huge selection, from beef in black bean sauce to chicken nuggets and chips! There’s something for everyone, and it’s really good value. Drinks can be a bit on the steep side, but water is offered free of charge. Desert is also available, and the cheesecake is nice. Best of all, it’s all you can eat, and so depending on how much you can fit in, it could end up being super cheap. :)

The only reason that this review has even one star is because it is mandatory and I can’t post without putting at least one on.
After visiting China China tonight, I will never go there again. The place was OK when it first opened but has really gone downhill. The toilets were uncleaned, there was poor choice of food given that we were at the deluxe buffet, and the rice had gone hard because it had been out on the buffet for hours. If you’re the sort of person who likes skin on your gravy then you’ll love their vat of pigswill /​curry sauce.
When we went to pay, I was extremely embarrased to find that I had left my bank card in the car, I immediately apologised for this honest mistake and offered to leave my driving licence with the manager as collateral whilst I went to get my card, only to be told (very loudly, and in front of a large number of other customers) that they would be calling the police. Whilst I appreciate that sometimes people make off without paying, this was clearly not my intention or I would not have gone to the counter to pay in the first place, and certainly not have offered my ID which has my photograph, signature and home address on it. There was no customer service or any discretion whatsoever and it was made clear that they have the same attitude towards the place as I now have, that it is a glorified canteen and nothing more.
Avoid this place like the plague, all these ignorant, jobsworth cretins want from their patrons is their hard-​earned cash in return for stale food and threatening behavoir.

I have been to this china china several times over the past year now and every time I have enjoyed it and found it good value. There is plenty of choice and the food is always of a high enough standard. It is also always easy to get a waiters attention if it is needed and they always come to the table to make sure everything is ok. As long as you are not expecting a fancy expensive restaurant then I don’t see how anyone would be disappointed with their meal. It also have some nice views of Swansea which you don’t get with most other restaurants nearby.

Have to disagree with previous reviewers the policy of ‘the price is calculated at your leave time’ is clearly advertised in all China China’s including this one. This is probably one of the nicest of the chain though, only because it’s in salubrious place near the newly refurbished Wind Street (a right Dive when I was in Uni there 10 years ago!), sat on the upper floors of the building you have some great views of to ponder and chat about — the staff are friendly and the food is better than the price suggests — great fro Saturday lunch or a bite before the pictures, but if you’re looking for a romantic meal for two — pay a bit more and find an intimate restaurant — don’t pay £5.99 and whinge!
