I ordered a range of starters — lamb chops, spicy scallops and saag paneer and enjoyed them all!
The paneer is actually the best I’ve had. They’re normally very dry in every other Indian place I’ve been to but these were juicy and yums.
My boyfriend told me that this place has gone through many a changes and confirmed the previous review (about hygiene standards). He assured me that they’ve completely done a 180 the last few years though and that they’re safe food hygiene safety wise.
The restaurant was spotless but the service and drinks were a bit of a let down. My amaretto sour was one of the worst cocktails I’ve tasted — way way too sweet even for a sweet tooth like mine.
Service is very standoffish and the food took over 30 minutes to arrive. Desserts were shop brought — the type you see at many other restaurants so we didn’t bother.
I would come back to try more starters though (the menu was huuuuge). And good food is pretty slim pickings in Swansea from what I’ve experienced.

Was disturbed to read the other review since I dined here last month and lived to see another day AND enjoyed my meal. Secondly, if you look at TripAdvisor you’ll see a completely different set of reviews

Pros: Wait staff was very attentive and kind even though we walked in for dinner at 9:30/10pm. Loved that they took ownership of the Patti Pavilion and saved an iconic building in the area. Second half of the building is still used for functions.
Enjoyed papadums, lemon rice, fried rice, peshwari nan, garlic nan, chicken tikka, and saag. Really enjoyed all of the food and found it to be very delicious.
Cons/​Suggestions: Menu was a bit long… I would recommend that they focus on making their most popular dishes and drop the additions to the menu. I would have to assume that they currently keep a lot of their food in the freezer with such a long menu.

Sadly, this restuarant has recently been fined over £10,000 in Swansea Magistrates Court for breaching many hygiene regulations, and was proved to have an absolutely filthy kitchen. So I don’t think its a good idea for me to recommend it anymore, and I have deleted my original review, and replaced it with this one, and also changed my rating to ONE star as well. Try it at your peril nowdays.
